Dr. Michael Ritter grew up in Liechtenstein and studied law at the University of Berne, where he gained his doctorate in 1992. He began his professional career in 1984 as a member of the legal staff in the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. In 1990, the expert in international law was appointed to the Liechtenstein EEA negotiating delegation. |
Three years later, Dr. Michael Ritter became a member of the government and served as Economics and Social Minister from 1993 until 2001. In the second period of office of his eight-year period in government, he served as Deputy Prime Minister. He was a member of the board of directors in one of the largest Liechtenstein banks and is currently a member of the board of directors in an international insurance company as well as in other operative companies. |
Dr. Michael Ritter brings to the firm professional experience of administration, government, international negotiations and as board member. Dr. Michael Ritter is a member of the managing board of the Liechtenstein Chamber of Lawyers and speaks German, English and French. |
