Dr. Michael Ritter, Partner

Dr. Michael Ritter grew up in Liechtenstein and studied law at the University of Berne, where he gained his doctorate in 1992. He began his professional career in 1984 as a member of the legal staff in the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. In 1990, the expert in international law was appointed to the Liechtenstein EEA negotiating delegation.

Three years later, Dr. Michael Ritter became a member of the government and served as Economics and Social Minister from 1993 until 2001. In the second period of office of his eight-year period in government, he served as Deputy Prime Minister. He was a member of the board of directors in one of the largest Liechtenstein banks and is currently a member of the board of directors in an international insurance company as well as in other operative companies.

Dr. Michael Ritter brings to the firm professional experience of administration, government, international negotiations and as board member. Dr. Michael Ritter is a member of the managing board of the Liechtenstein Chamber of Lawyers and speaks German, English and French.
